Andrea Barber, born on July 3, 1976, is an American actress. She is best known for playing the role of Kimmy Gibbler, the best friend of D.J. Tanner, in the popular ABC sitcom Full House from 1987 to 1995. She later reprised this role in the Netflix sequel series Fuller House (2016–2020).
Before Full House, her first major role was as Carrie Brady on the soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1982 to 1986. After Full House ended, Barber took a break from acting for over two decades. During that time, she earned a degree in English from Whittier College and a Master's degree in Women's Studies from the University of York, England. More recently, she has also appeared as Principal Willingham on the Nickelodeon series That Girl Lay Lay.
She was married to Jeremy Rytky from 2002 to 2014, and they have two children together. She has also written a memoir titled Full Circle.
