Dave Grohl is an American musician, singer, and songwriter, widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in modern rock.
He first rose to prominence as the drummer for the iconic grunge band Nirvana from 1990 until the band's dissolution in 1994 following the death of Kurt Cobain.
Following Nirvana, Grohl became the founder, primary songwriter, and frontman of the rock band Foo Fighters, which has achieved significant global success and critical acclaim. In Foo Fighters, he primarily sings and plays guitar.
