Deena Nicole Buckner (née Cortese) is an American reality television personality.
She was born on January 12, 1987, in New Egypt, New Jersey. Her parents, John and Joann Cortese, were Italian-American. She has an older sister named Joanie Maiorella. Deena attended New Egypt High School and briefly attended Brookdale Community College, where she initially planned for a career as a dental assistant.
Deena rose to fame as a cast member on the MTV reality show Jersey Shore, appearing from 2010 to 2012 (seasons 3-6). She later returned to reality TV as a main cast member on the reunion show, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation (2018–present). She also appeared on the spin-off Snooki & Jwoww and on Couples Therapy in 2014. Before Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, she also worked at a doggy daycare center as a dog trainer. She has also opened up about her battles with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety.
She married Christopher Buckner on October 28, 2017. They have two sons: Christopher John "CJ" Buckner (born January 5, 2019) and Cameron Theo Buckner (born May 1, 2021). Deena's net worth is reported as $2 million.
