Vendela Kirsebom is a Norwegian-Swedish model, television host, and actress. She was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1967 to a Norwegian mother and a Turkish father. She was discovered by the famous modeling agent Eileen Ford at the age of 13.

After graduating at 18, she moved to Italy to officially begin her modeling career with Ford Models. Her career reached supermodel status in the 1990s, notably after appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue multiple times. She was a spokesperson for major beauty companies, including a six-year contract with Elizabeth Arden and later working as a spokesperson for Almay. Her modeling campaigns included brands like Victoria's Secret, Revlon, and Diesel Jeans.

Beyond modeling, Kirsebom pursued an acting career, with notable appearances including the role of Nora Fries in the 1997 film Batman and Robin and a cameo as a bridal gown model in The Parent Trap (1998). Her television work includes appearances as herself on shows like Murphy Brown and The Larry Sanders Show, hosting the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen 1999, and hosting both the Norwegian and Swedish versions of Top Model.

Kirsebom has also been a dedicated Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 1996, advocating for causes like girls' education and safe motherhood. She is known for being fluent in several languages, including Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, German, Italian, and English. She released her autobiography in 2017 and continues to be active, including walking the runway for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show in 2023.
