Destiny Rogers is an American singer-songwriter from Lodi, California, born on September 13, 1999. Her music blends R&B, hip-hop, and pop with laid-back, California-inspired melodies. Rogers is fluent in Spanish, having grown up in a Mexican household on her mother's side.
She initially aspired to be a professional skateboarder. Her musical journey began at age 10 when she taught herself to play the guitar by watching YouTube videos, particularly those of Justin Bieber. She gained early attention through her own YouTube channel, where she posted acoustic covers.
In 2018, she signed with the production duo The Stereotypes' label, Beach Wave Sound, and later with RCA Records. She released her debut EP, "Tomboy," in 2019, featuring the popular title track, and followed up with her second EP, "Great Escape," in 2020. Her single "Tomboy" gained a significant boost in popularity after K-Pop star Lisa of Blackpink released a choreographed video for the song. Rogers is also known to be a multi-instrumentalist who plays the guitar, piano, and drums.
