Do Kyungsoo is a prominent South Korean singer and actor, best known by his stage name D.O. He is a member and one of the main vocalists of the globally popular K-pop boy band, EXO, which debuted in 2012.
Simultaneously, he has established a successful career as a critically acclaimed actor, starring in a diverse range of films and television dramas. His notable acting roles include the films My Annoying Brother (2016), Along with the Gods (2017/2018 series), Swing Kids (2018), and the drama series 100 Days My Prince (2018) and Bad Prosecutor (2022). He has received several prestigious acting awards, including the Best New Actor award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
He launched his solo music career in 2021 with his first extended play (EP), Empathy. His subsequent solo releases include the EPs Expectation (2023) and Blossom (2024). In 2023, he departed from SM Entertainment for his solo and acting activities to join his new agency, Company SooSoo, while remaining a member of EXO under SM Entertainment.
