Dylan McDermott is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He is well-known for his role as the lawyer and law firm head Bobby Donnell in the TV series The Practice from 1997 to 2004, for which he received a Golden Globe Award for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama."

He has also had notable roles in the FX horror anthology series American Horror Story, appearing in multiple seasons as characters like Dr. Ben Harmon and Johnny Morgan. More recently, he starred as Richard Wheatley on the spin-off Law & Order: Organized Crime and currently stars as Supervisory Special Agent Remy Scott in FBI: Most Wanted since 2022.

His film credits include In the Line of Fire, Steel Magnolias, Miracle on 34th Street, and Olympus Has Fallen. He was born Mark Anthony McDermott on October 26, 1961.
