Emma Bunton is an English singer, songwriter, media personality, and actress. She is best known for being a member of the iconic pop group the Spice Girls in the mid-1990s, where she was given the nickname Baby Spice because she was the youngest member.
After the Spice Girls went on hiatus, Bunton launched a solo music career. Her debut solo album, A Girl Like Me (2001), featured the UK No. 1 single "What Took You So Long?". Her second album, Free Me (2004), gained attention for its 1960s-inspired Motown and bossa nova sound. She has released four solo albums in total.
Outside of music, Bunton has worked extensively in television and radio. She has been a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and a judge on Dancing on Ice. She was also a radio host on Heart FM for many years.
She was born in Finchley, London, on January 21, 1976. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School. She has been in a long-term relationship with singer Jade Jones since 1998, and they have two children together. They married in 2021.
