Early Life & Dance Background

Morris began dancing at a very young age, training across multiple styles including jazz, tap, and contemporary. She moved to Los Angeles at age 19 to pursue a professional dance career. Her early breakthrough came in 2006 when she competed on Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance. Soon after, she landed a major role as a backup dancer for Beyoncé on The Beyoncé Experience world tour in 2007 and during performances for "Single Ladies".

Acting Career & Glee

Morris achieved international recognition for her role as Brittany S. Pierce on the Fox hit musical comedy-drama series Glee (2009–2015). She was initially hired as a choreographer to teach Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" routine to the Glee cast, but producers cast her as one of the cheerleaders due to her dancing skill. Her quick comedic timing and performance ability turned Brittany into a fan-favorite main character. Along with the cast, she won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
