Jaden Christopher Syre Smith is an American actor, rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born on July 8, 1998, in Malibu, California, he is the son of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and the older brother of singer Willow Smith.
He began his career as a child actor, making his film debut alongside his father in the 2006 movie The Pursuit of Happyness. He is also well known for starring roles in the remakes of The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) and The Karate Kid (2010), as well as the 2013 film After Earth, again with his father.
In addition to acting, Jaden Smith has established a significant music career, releasing mixtapes and studio albums like his 2017 debut Syre, and is recognized for his alternative hip hop style. He has also been noted for his unique fashion sense and his involvement in environmental and social activism, including co-founding the bottled water company Just Water.
