Jodie Sweetin is an American actress, born January 19, 1982, in Long Beach, California. She is best known for playing Stephanie Tanner on the sitcom Full House (1987-1995) and its Netflix sequel Fuller House (2016-2020). She began acting at age four, appearing in commercials and guest roles before Full House. After the original series, she struggled with substance abuse but achieved sobriety in 2008. She has hosted TV shows, competed on Dancing with the Stars (season 22), and written a memoir, unSweetined (2009), about her addiction and recovery. Sweetin has three daughters and advocates for addiction recovery.
