Joseph Vincent Flacco, born January 16, 1985, is an American professional football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Delaware before being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL draft.
Flacco was the Ravens' starting quarterback from 2008 until midway through the 2018 season, during which he led the team to six playoff appearances and three AFC Championship Games. The pinnacle of his career came after the 2012 season, when he led the Ravens to victory in Super Bowl XLVII, earning the Super Bowl MVP award after tying a single postseason record for touchdown passes (11) without an interception. He was also named the 2023 NFL Comeback Player of the Year with the Cleveland Browns.
His career history includes playing for the Baltimore Ravens (2008–2018), Denver Broncos (2019), New York Jets (2020), Philadelphia Eagles (2021), New York Jets (second stint, 2021–2022), Cleveland Browns (2023), Indianapolis Colts (2024), Cleveland Browns (second stint, 2025), and he was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2025. He is known for having a strong arm and a quiet personality. He and his wife, Dana Grady, have multiple children.
