Josh Radnor is an American actor, filmmaker, author, and musician.
He is widely known for portraying the main character, Ted Mosby, on the Emmy Award-winning CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, which ran from 2005 to 2014.
Beyond acting, Radnor has demonstrated talents behind the camera, having written and directed the films Happythankyoumoreplease (2010), which won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival, and Liberal Arts (2012).
His other acting credits include roles in the television series Mercy Street (2016–2017), Rise (2018), and Hunters (2020–2023). He has also worked in theater, making his Broadway debut in The Graduate in 2002.
As a musician, he has released solo music, including the albums Eulogy, Vol. I (2023) and Eulogy, Vol. II (2024), and was part of the duo Radnor and Lee.
