Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an American actress, comedian, and producer widely celebrated as one of the most decorated performers in television history. She is best known for her iconic starring roles in three highly acclaimed comedy series.

She rose to prominence as Elaine Benes on the classic sitcom "Seinfeld" (1990-1998), a role for which she won her first Emmy Award. She then starred as Christine Campbell on "The New Adventures of Old Christine" (2006-2010), earning her an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, making her the first actress to win an Emmy for three separate comedy series. Her subsequent role as the perpetually frustrated politician Selina Meyer on the HBO political satire "Veep" (2012-2019) solidified her legendary status, earning her a record six consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, as well as multiple awards as a producer for the show.
