Karan Soni is an Indian-American actor and comedian.
He is widely known for his comedic roles, most notably playing the taxi driver Dopinder in the Deadpool film series, including Deadpool (2016), Deadpool 2 (2018), and the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
He also provided the voice for Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India in the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023).
On television, he was a main cast member on the anthology comedy series Miracle Workers from 2019 to 2023. Other film appearances include Ghostbusters (2016), Office Christmas Party (2016), and Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019). He also co-wrote and starred in the film 7 Days (2021).
He was born in New Delhi, India, and moved to the United States to study at the University of Southern California before pursuing his acting career.
