Kel Mitchell is an American actor, comedian, rapper, singer, and TV host. He was born on August 25, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois.
He is widely known as an original cast member of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That (1994–1999), where he frequently collaborated with Kenan Thompson. They went on to co-star in the Nickelodeon sitcom Kenan & Kel (1996–2000) and the feature film Good Burger (1997), which was based on one of his All That sketches. Mitchell reprised his role as Ed in the 2023 sequel, Good Burger 2.
His career also includes voice work, such as the character "T-Bone" in the animated series Clifford the Big Red Dog (2000–2003), for which he received two Emmy Award nominations. From 2015 to 2019, he starred as Double G on the Nickelodeon sitcom Game Shakers.
Outside of acting, Kel Mitchell is also a writer and a youth pastor. He was a runner-up on the 28th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2019.
