Michael Clifford is an Australian musician best known as the lead guitarist and a vocalist for the pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS). Born on November 20, 1995, in Sydney, he helped form the band in 2011 alongside schoolmates Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood, later joined by Ashton Irwin.
