Neal McDonough is an American actor known for his various character roles in both film and television, as well as for his voice work. He is especially considered one of the best "bad guy character actors" in the industry due to his ability to portray compelling villains.
He has appeared in numerous projects, including the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers (as Lieutenant Lynn "Buck" Compton), Desperate Housewives (as Dave Williams), and Suits (as Sean Cahill). He is also known for playing Timothy "Dum Dum" Dugan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films and TV series, and for his role as Damien Darhk in the DC Arrowverse shows like Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. More recently, he has appeared in Yellowstone and Tulsa King.
Born on February 13, 1966, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, his parents were Irish immigrants. He graduated from Syracuse University. He is married to Ruvé Robertson and they have five children. Due to his Catholic faith and respect for his wife, he has stated that he refuses to perform sex scenes and kiss female co-stars.
