Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr., commonly known as OBJ, is an American professional football wide receiver. He was born on November 5, 1992, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He played college football at LSU and was selected by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft.

Throughout his professional career, he has played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins. He won Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams. He was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014, and is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Second-team All-Pro.

A notable highlight of his rookie season was a spectacular one-handed touchdown catch against the Dallas Cowboys, which many considered one of the greatest catches ever made. In high school, he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track.

He was released by the Miami Dolphins in December 2024. In April 2025, it was reported he accepted a six-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's performance-enhancing drugs policy that occurred the previous season.

In November 2022, while he was a free agent, he was escorted off an American Airlines flight after crew members reported concerns about his compliance with safety protocol and his condition, though he was not detained or charged.
