Oliver Stanley Murs (born May 14, 1984) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He first gained prominence as the runner-up on the sixth series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2009.
Following The X Factor, Murs launched a highly successful music career, releasing multiple platinum-certified albums and achieving several number-one singles in the UK, including "Please Don't Let Me Go," "Heart Skips a Beat," "Dance with Me Tonight," and "Troublemaker."
