Paul Hollywood is an English celebrity chef and television personality, widely known as a judge on The Great British Bake Off since 2010.
Originally trained as a sculptor, he was persuaded by his father, who owned a bakery, to change careers and join the family business. He went on to become a Master Baker, serving as head baker at a number of prestigious hotels, including The Dorchester. He is considered one of the UK's leading artisan bakers and has published best-selling books on the subject, such as 100 Great Breads.
In addition to The Great British Bake Off, he has also judged The American Baking Competition and presented his own series, including Bread and Paul Hollywood's Pies and Puds. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2024 New Year Honours for services to baking and broadcasting.
