Regé-Jean Page is a British actor, best known for his breakthrough role as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, in the first series of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton in 2020.
He was born on April 27, 1988, in London, England, to an English preacher father and a Zimbabwean nurse mother. He spent his early childhood in Harare, Zimbabwe, before returning to London for secondary school. He trained at Drama Centre London.
