Paul Stanley (born Stanley Bert Eisen, January 20, 1952) is an American musician best known as the co-founder, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist for the hard rock band Kiss.
He is one of the primary creative forces and songwriters for Kiss, credited with co-writing or writing many of their biggest hits like "Rock And Roll All Nite," "Detroit Rock City," and "I Was Made for Lovin' You."
His iconic stage persona in Kiss is "The Starchild," recognizable by the star painted over his right eye. He has been lauded as one of the top frontmen and metal vocalists of all time.
Outside of Kiss, he has released solo albums and established a side project called Paul Stanley's Soul Station, a tribute band performing R&B and soul classics. Stanley is also a published author and a successful painter. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Kiss in 2014.
