Rob Schneider is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, producer, and director.
He rose to prominence as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (1990–1994), where he also worked as a writer and earned three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
After leaving SNL, he went on to star in films such as Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Animal, and The Hot Chick. He is also known for co-starring in numerous comedies alongside his friend Adam Sandler, including Grown Ups, The Waterboy, Little Nicky, 50 First Dates, and The Longest Yard.
He has continued his career in stand-up comedy and has also starred in television series like Men Behaving Badly, Rob, and the Netflix series Real Rob, which he also produced and directed. He has directed films including Big Stan and Daddy Daughter Trip.
Born in San Francisco, his father was Jewish and his mother was Catholic, of Filipino and Caucasian descent. He has a daughter who is the singer/songwriter Elle King.
