Serena Williams is an American former professional tennis player, widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes of all time. Born on September 26, 1981, in Saginaw, Michigan, she turned pro in 1995 and dominated women's tennis for over two decades. She won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most in the Open Era, including seven Australian Open, three French Open, seven Wimbledon, and six US Open titles.
