Skai Jackson is an American actress, author, and social media personality. She was born on April 8, 2002, in Staten Island, New York City. She began her career as a child model and actress.
She is widely recognized for her starring role as Zuri Ross in the Disney Channel comedy series Jessie (2011–2015) and its spin-off series Bunk'd (2015–2018). Her performance earned her an NAACP Image Award nomination. Her other credits include roles in films such as The Smurfs (2011) and voice roles in series like Bubble Guppies and the Marvel Rising franchise. In 2020, she was a semi-finalist on the 29th season of Dancing with the Stars.
