Slash is a British-American guitarist, best known as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses.
He is celebrated for his emotional, bluesy, and heavy playing style, which features instantly recognizable riffs (like "Sweet Child o' Mine") and soaring solos ("November Rain"). He is widely considered one of the greatest guitarists in rock history.
His signature visual image is iconic: long, dark curly hair, dark sunglasses, and a black top hat, almost always with an amber Gibson Les Paul guitar.
After his initial run with Guns N' Roses, he co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver and has since released multiple albums with his solo project, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. He rejoined Guns N' Roses in 2016.
