Sophia Bush is an American actress, activist, and director, best known for her role as Brooke Davis on the teen drama series One Tree Hill, which aired from 2003 to 2012. Born on July 8, 1982, in Pasadena, California, she grew up in a creative family—her mother was a photographer, and her father owned an advertising company—and attended the University of Southern California, where she studied photography and environmental studies.
