Tia Carrere is an American actress, singer, and model. She was born as Althea Rae Duhinio Janairo in Honolulu, Hawaii, on January 2, 1967.
She is known for her roles in film and television, including playing Cassandra Wong in Wayne's World (1992) and Wayne's World 2 (1993), and Juno Skinner in True Lies (1994). She also voiced the character Nani Pelekai in the Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch (2002) and its spin-offs, and starred as Sydney Fox in the television series Relic Hunter (1999–2002). Her early career included a regular role on the soap opera General Hospital.
In addition to acting, Carrere is a Grammy Award-winning musical artist, having won twice for her Hawaiian music albums.
