Timothée Hal Chalamet is an American and French actor born on December 27, 1995, in New York City.
He began his career in television, with an appearance on Law & Order in 2009 and a recurring role on the drama series Homeland in 2012. He made his feature film debut in 2014, including a role in Christopher Nolan's science-fiction film Interstellar.
Chalamet gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim for his lead role as Elio Perlman in the 2017 romantic drama Call Me by Your Name, for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor. He has since appeared in numerous notable films, including Lady Bird (2017), Beautiful Boy (2018), Little Women (2019), and starring as Paul Atreides in Denis Villeneuve's Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024). He also played the title role in the 2023 film Wonka.
