Tommy Lee is an American musician best known as the co-founder and flamboyant drummer for the iconic heavy metal band Mötley Crüe.
Born Thomas Lee Bass in Athens, Greece, in 1962, he moved to the United States as a child. He is renowned for his energetic and often outlandish live performances, which famously included drum kits that would spin or float above the audience.
