Amr Diab is an Egyptian singer, composer, and actor, widely considered one of the most celebrated and best-selling Middle Eastern artists. He has established himself as a globally acclaimed recording artist, often referred to as the "Father of Mediterranean Music" due to his distinct style, which is a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms.
He began his professional music career in 1983 and has since released numerous successful albums. His international hit, "Nour El Ain" (1996), gained him recognition far beyond the Arabic-speaking world. His song 'Tamally Maak' was ranked first on Rolling Stone's list of "50 Best Arabic Pop Songs of the 21st Century."
He holds a Guinness World Record as the best-selling Middle Eastern artist and has won multiple World Music Awards. Diab is also acknowledged as one of the first Egyptian and Middle Eastern artists to popularize and produce high-quality music videos.
