Billy Ray Cyrus is an American country music singer, songwriter, and actor.
He is perhaps most famous for his debut single, "Achy Breaky Heart," a smash hit from 1992 that sparked a major line-dancing craze. His debut album, Some Gave All, was highly successful, becoming the best-selling debut album of all time for a solo male artist.
In the acting world, he is widely recognized for co-starring with his daughter, Miley Cyrus, in the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana" (2006–2011), where he played the lead character's father, Robby Ray Stewart.
More recently, he gained renewed chart success in 2019 as a featured artist on the record-breaking remix of Lil Nas X's song "Old Town Road."
