Bill Bailey is an English comedian, musician, actor, writer, and presenter known for his intellectual, surreal, and musical comedy. He is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist who frequently incorporates music into his stand-up performances, often blending musical parodies with political satire and observational humor.
His most notable television roles include playing the gentle, long-suffering Manny Bianco in the sitcom Black Books (2000–2004), and serving as a team captain on the music-themed panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks. He is also a frequent and popular panellist on the general knowledge quiz show QI and has appeared on other panel shows like Have I Got News for You and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
