Brian Quinn, often referred to by his nickname "Q," is an American improvisational comedian, actor, producer, and podcaster. He is best known as one of the stars of the hit truTV hidden-camera reality comedy series "Impractical Jokers," which premiered in 2011.
Quinn is a member of the comedy troupe The Tenderloins, which he formed alongside his lifelong friends, James Murray, Sal Vulcano, and formerly Joe Gatto. The group initially gained recognition by producing comedy sketches online.
Before his career in comedy took off, Quinn was a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) for eight years. Beyond "Impractical Jokers," he is also a co-host of the long-running podcast, "Tell 'Em Steve-Dave!" He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 14, 1976, and later moved to Staten Island.
