Josh Brolin is an American actor who was born on February 12, 1968, and is the son of actor James Brolin.
He first gained fame for his role as Brandon "Brand" Walsh in the adventure film The Goonies (1985). His career had a major resurgence starting in 2007 with his starring role as Llewelyn Moss in the crime film No Country for Old Men.
He has since appeared in numerous high-profile projects, including:
Milk (2008), for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for playing Dan White.
W. (2008), where he portrayed President George W. Bush.
True Grit (2010), Men in Black 3 (2012), and Sicario (2015).
Playing the supervillain Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
