Jyoti Amge is an Indian actress best known for holding the Guinness World Record for being the world's shortest living woman.
Born on December 16, 1993, in Nagpur, India, her restricted height is due to a genetic disorder called achondroplasia (a type of dwarfism). She stands at just 62.8 centimeters (2 feet 0.6 inches) tall.
Jyoti gained international fame following her 18th birthday in 2011, when Guinness World Records officially measured and certified her title. She has since appeared in various documentaries and television shows globally, most notably playing the character Ma Petite in the American horror anthology series American Horror Story: Freak Show in 2014.
