Hamilton Nash Grier, born on December 28, 1997, in Greensboro, North Carolina, is an American internet personality and actor who rose to fame through short-form video content. He gained massive popularity in 2013 on the now-defunct app Vine, where he posted comedic six-second clips that quickly amassed millions of followers, making him the platform's second-most-followed user by 2015. Self-taught in video editing, Grier crafted scripted skits that often featured collaborations with other Viners like Carter Reynolds, Jack Gilinsky, and Jerome Jarre, earning him sponsorships worth $25,000 to $100,000 per video from major brands.
In 2013, he joined the Magcon tour—a live meet-and-greet event featuring Vine stars including his younger brother Hayes Grier, Cameron Dallas, Shawn Mendes, and others—helping launch it as a "boy-band phenomenon without the band."
