Naveen Andrews is a British-American actor best known for his roles in film and television.
He gained widespread recognition for playing Sayid Jarrah on the acclaimed television series Lost from 2004 to 2010. His performance earned him nominations for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award, and he shared a Screen Actors Guild Award with the rest of the cast.
Andrews also had a prominent role as Kip in the Oscar-winning film The English Patient (1996). More recently, he portrayed Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani in the 2022 Hulu miniseries The Dropout.
Born in London, England, he studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He holds both British and U.S. citizenship.
