Patrick Wilson is an American actor, director, and singer. He started his career in 1995 in Broadway musicals, earning nominations for two Tony Awards for his roles in The Full Monty (2000–2001) and Oklahoma! (2002).
He gained wider recognition for his work in the horror genre, starring as Josh Lambert in the Insidious film series (2010–2023) and as paranormal investigator Ed Warren in The Conjuring universe (2013–present). He made his directorial debut with the sequel Insidious: The Red Door (2023).
