Steven Yeun is an American actor born in Seoul, South Korea. He is widely recognized for his role as Glenn Rhee in the television horror series The Walking Dead (2010–2016). Yeun has since earned significant critical acclaim for his work in film, becoming the first Asian American to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his leading role as Jacob Yi in Minari (2020). He also received high praise for his performance in the South Korean film Burning (2018). More recently, he won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Limited Series for his starring role as Danny Cho in the Netflix dark comedy-drama Beef (2023). Yeun is also a prolific voice actor, known for roles such as Mark Grayson in the animated series Invincible.
