Tom Hollander is an English actor who began his career in theater and is known for his versatility as a character actor on both screen and stage.

He was born on August 25, 1967, in Bristol and raised in Oxford. He trained with the National Youth Theatre and won the Ian Charleson Award early in his career.

His film roles include Mr. Collins in Pride & Prejudice (2005), Lord Cutler Beckett in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and Jim Beach in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018).

On television, he starred in and co-wrote the BBC sitcom Rev. (2010–2014), which won a BAFTA Award for best sitcom. He also won the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in The Night Manager (2016). More recently, he was in The White Lotus (2022) and portrayed Truman Capote in the FX on Hulu series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans (2024).

He is not to be confused with the actor Tom Holland.
