Ty Burrell is an American actor best known for his long-running role as the lovable, goofy, and well-intentioned real estate agent Phil Dunphy on the ABC sitcom Modern Family (2009–2020).
This iconic performance earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Beyond his comedic success, Burrell has also appeared in various films and television shows, including roles in Black Hawk Down (2001), Dawn of the Dead (2004), and The Incredible Hulk (2008). He has also done extensive voice work for animated movies such as Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) and Finding Dory (2016).
