Andy Samberg is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and musician. He is best known for his time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (SNL) from 2005 to 2012, where he was a key part of the comedy trio The Lonely Island. They popularized the "SNL Digital Shorts," creating viral music videos like "Lazy Sunday" and "Dick in a Box."
Since leaving SNL, his most prominent role has been as the lead character Jake Peralta in the critically acclaimed television sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013–2021).
He has also starred in films such as Hot Rod, I Love You, Man, Celeste and Jesse Forever, and the highly-praised time-loop comedy Palm Springs.
