Carole Baskin - Activist

Carole Baskin Age: 64 Country: United States Occupations: Activist

Carole Baskin is an American animal rights activist and the CEO of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary in Florida. She is widely known for her prominent role in the 2020 Netflix docuseries, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, which focused heavily on her intense rivalry with private zoo owner Joe Exotic.

Baskin's primary mission is to end the private ownership and exploitation of big cats in the United States, particularly activities like cub petting.

The documentary brought significant public attention to her and led to widespread discussion, particularly concerning the 1997 disappearance of her second husband, Don Lewis, which she has consistently denied any involvement in. Her famous catchphrase, "Hey all you cool cats and kittens!", also became a popular meme after the series' release.
