Isabel Lucas is an Australian actress, model, and environmentalist. Born in Melbourne, Victoria on January 29, 1985, she grew up in various locations including Queensland, the Northern Territory, and Switzerland.

Her acting career began when she was discovered by a talent agent in 2002. She rose to prominence on the popular Australian television soap opera Home and Away, playing the character Tasha Andrews from 2003 to 2006, a role that earned her a Logie Award for Most Popular New Female Talent.

In 2008, Lucas moved to Los Angeles to pursue international projects. Her major Hollywood breakthrough came when she was cast as Alice in the science-fiction action film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), for which she won a Scream Award for Best Breakout Performance.

Over the years, she has built a diverse filmography across both Australian and American productions. Her notable film credits include the vampire thriller Daybreakers (2009), the fantasy epic Immortals (2011), the action remake Red Dawn (2012), the mystery-drama The Loft (2014), and Russell Crowe’s directorial debut The Water Diviner (2014). On television, she has appeared in the World War II miniseries The Pacific (2010), the fantasy series Emerald City (2017), and joined the main cast of the action-adventure series MacGyver as Samantha Cage from 2017 to 2018. More recently, she starred in Australian feature films such as Bosch & Rockit (2022) and Sons of Summer (2023).

Beyond acting, Lucas is known for her advocacy work. She is a dedicated vegetarian and an active supporter of environmental conservation, animal rights, and social justice causes.
